Irresistible bittersweetness and texture! Easy recipe for rich roasted green tea nuts
Ingredients (for 2 people)
- Roasted tea leaves
- 1 to 2 tablespoons
- Walnuts (or other nuts)
- 50g
- (A) Sugar
- 2 tablespoons
- (A) Salt
- A little
- (A) Starch syrup
- 1 tbsp
- (A) Water
- 100ml
How to make it
1. Roast the roasted tea leaves in a frying pan over high heat for about 1 minute, being careful not to burn them.
2. Put ingredients A in a small saucepan while adding water and heat on the stove.
3. Add the walnuts when the mixture is not too thick and mix well.
4. Quickly mix the roasted tea leaves from step 1 into the mixture, then transfer to a tray and let cool. Leave some of the roasted tea leaves from step 1 aside as they will be used for the final touches.
5. Place in a bowl and sprinkle the reserved tea leaves from step 4 on top to finish.
