Hojicha Amazake
A variation on Amazake! A warm, gentle taste, easy Houjicha Amazake at home
Ingredients (for 1 cup)
Roasted tea leaves
7-8g
Commercially available amazake
100ml
water
100ml
How to make it

1. Boil roasted tea leaves in a strong liquid using more than double the usual amount.

2. Add amazake. The ratio of amazake to hojicha is 2:1. If you want to taste more hojicha, use 1:1.

3. Pour through a tea strainer.
