Turn leftover rice into a masterpiece! Here's a recipe for arancini (rice croquettes), a Sicilian specialty.
Ingredients (for 2 people)
- Roasted seaweed (8 pieces)
- 2 sheets
- White rice
- 300g
- (A) Paprika powder
- 3 tbsp
- (A) Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon
- (A) Cayenne pepper
- A little
- Beaten egg
- 1 piece
- Breadcrumbs
- Appropriate amount
- parsley
- Appropriate amount
- lemon
- Appropriate amount
How to make it
1. Mix ingredients (A) into white rice.
2. Make rice balls in the shape of a barrel
3. Cut the eight pieces of roasted seaweed in half and wrap the rice balls around it.
4. Dip the formed rice balls into beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs and fry in 170℃ oil for 3-4 minutes.
5. Arrange on top and it's done.
