How to make authentic homemade roasted green tea pudding!
Hojicha pudding
If you like hojicha tea, you should definitely try this hojicha pudding. It is an elegant pudding that fills your mouth with the aroma of hojicha tea.
4 pudding cups
- (A) Hojicha
- 80ml
- (A) Sugar
- 3 tbsp
- (A) Milk
- 200ml
- (A) Egg
- 1 piece
- (B) Sugar
- 1 tbsp
- (B) Water
- 1/2 teaspoon
- (B) Hot water
- 1/2 teaspoon
How to make it
1. Make the caramel. Put the sugar and water (B) into a heat-resistant bowl and microwave (600W) for about 1 minute. Immediately after heating, add the hot water (B) to make the mixture liquid.
2. Divide the caramel into pudding cups.
3. Mix the ingredients for the pudding (A) thoroughly and strain through a sieve.
4. Gently pour into the pudding cups containing the caramel.
5. Place the cups on a baking tray, add a little water (to make the heat gentle), and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
6. Let cool and then chill in the refrigerator. *To remove from the mold, gently push air into the circumference with a bamboo skewer and turn it upside down to remove.
