Hojicha is a type of green tea that is roasted over high heat.
At Yamamotoyama, we use Uji tea as the main ingredient in our blends.
We roast the leaves and the cores separately using far infrared rays.
Roasting all the way through to the core reduces the bitterness, resulting in a fragrant, rich-tasting roasted green tea.
