Gogumi Sencha (original blend tea)

At Yamamotoyama, in order to allow our customers to enjoy tea of the same quality throughout the year, and to allow us to offer tea of different qualities from tea leaves produced in different regions, we assess the quality of the tea leaves produced in different regions each time, blend them, and sell them.
Japanese tea bags
In 1963, we launched Japan's first Japanese tea tea bags, with the desire to make it easier for people to enjoy the authentic taste of tea brewed in a teapot.
Some Yamamotoyama tea bags use nylon mesh, which allows the tea to flow easily and provides the authentic taste and aroma of tea brewed in a teapot.

Commitment to grilling
The seaweed is roasted evenly using far-infrared rays to bring out its natural characteristics to the fullest.
This gives it a soft texture, a rich sea scent, and a crisp feel.
Careful selection of ingredients
We are particular about using seaweed from the Ariake Sea, which is famous for producing delicious seaweed, and use it as the raw material for the majority of our products.
Even though the seaweed is from the same Ariake Sea, the quality varies from year to year due to weather and sea conditions, but at Yamamotoyama we purchase our seaweed from the beach that produces the best quality seaweed each year.
Attention to Seasoning
Yamamotoyama's seasoned seaweed sauce is made with carefully selected ingredients and contains no added chemical seasonings.
In order to bring out the full flavor of the ingredients, we do not use any water and instead use sake and mirin as the base, and we bring out the full flavor of natural ingredients such as kelp from Rausu, Hokkaido, and natural salt from Ako, continuing the "Yamamotoyama taste" to the present day.

A delicious, strong, mellow tea with little bitterness
The main feature of this product is that it is deep steamed. It is said that long steaming reduces the bitterness and increases the sweetness.
It's very sweet and has little astringency, so even small children say it's delicious and drink it with me.
Deep-steamed tea from Shizuoka, Kagoshima, and Uji is blended in Yamamotoyama's unique recipe. Tea made using the deep-steaming method has a deep color and a less bitter taste.
Nori is the best thing to have on your dinner table ^^
I always put it on the dining table where I eat. Each piece of nori is firm and thick, giving it a luxurious feel.
I think it would also be useful for making lunches for children.
