Roasted and boiled pork
Introducing Hojicha Boiled Pork, a recommended dish for parties and entertaining guests. It has no unpleasant odor and has a refreshing taste.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- Long green onion
- Appropriate amount
- Hojicha tea leaves
- 16g
- Pork shoulder loin
- 400-600g
- water
- 700ml
- salt
- 3g
- carrot
- Appropriate amount
- Shiitake mushroom
- Appropriate amount
- (A) Sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons
- (A) Alcohol
- 1 1/2 tablespoons
- (A) Mirin
- 1 1/2 tablespoons
- (A) Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp
How to make it
1. First, heat the green onions over low heat until browned.
2. Place the roasted green tea leaves into a tea bag.
3. Place the pork shoulder in a pot, add water, teabags, and salt, and simmer over low heat. Once boiling, skim off the scum.
4. Add the green onions, carrots, and shiitake mushrooms that were browned in step 1 and simmer for 20 minutes. After that, leave them in the boiling water until they cool.
5. Remove all ingredients, add seasoning (A) to the broth and bring to a boil.
7. Cut into bite-sized pieces, arrange in a serving dish , pour over the broth and it's done.
