Name change announcement

Starting Tuesday, July 9, 2024, the cafe "Yamamotoyama Fujie Lab Ecute Tachikawa," located in the Ecute Tachikawa shopping complex inside JR Tachikawa Station, will be renamed "Ochazuke Tea Sweets Yamamotoyama."

■Since its opening in June 2023, Yamamotoyama Fujie Lab Ecute Tachikawa has been proposing new ways to enjoy tea and seaweed, aiming to be a Japanese cafe where customers can casually enjoy the traditional flavors of tea and seaweed.

To continue allowing a wide range of customers using Tachikawa Station to experience the rich flavors of tea and seaweed, the traditional Japanese taste, the restaurant will be renamed "Ochazuke Tea Sweets Yamamotoyama," emphasizing the familiar catchphrase "Yamamotoyama whether you read it from top to bottom, Yamamotoyama whether you read it from bottom to top."

The store offers a variety of Japanese dishes, including "Nori Daku Chazuke," which combines three types of carefully selected domestic seaweed, "dried loose seaweed," "sheet seaweed," and "green laver seaweed," with homemade dashi and roasted green tea, as well as "Matcha Pudding," "Strawberry Matcha Latte," and "Hojicha Ginger Ale." We have sweets and drinks made with Yamamotoyama's matcha and roasted green tea, and we look forward to your visit.
